Even with the box set to "No", it still spams my inbox with reply notifications.

As I said, I already checked the "Don't send me e-mail notifications box".
I do that every time I sign up on a Forumotion.
Expansions does the same thing.

Yes, it's mostly likely because you posted before you clicked that don't send me e-mail notifications box or whatever. And so those topics you posted in before will be being watched by you.
So go to "profile" and then click "Topics being watched" and un-watch them.
